"Great service and friendly. I visited for lunch on a weekday around 1pm, there were some other diners but it was not over busy. I had combination Thai fried rice and two beers which cost $54 which I thought was a little expensive, I had the dinner serving not the lunch once. The food was very nice. It was located with easy access to parking on the street and could cater to those with walking difficulties or anyone using a wheelchair. The Resturant was a good sized and could cater to larger groups. The toilets were modern and also clean; it would appear they were upgraded in recent times. Would eat here again."

"Had chicken fried rice tonight , what an experience ,massive pieces of chicken and plenty of vegetables had just the right amount of everything , generally i always add extra salt but not this time , i look forward to trying more dishes"

"Excellent food - starters and mains, fresh and tasty. Dipping sauces were especially delicious - tasted very authentic. Service was v friendly and polite. Sat out in the new outdoor area which was nice, only thing missing was some music. Highly recommend, thanks"

"I haven't actually eaten here but I can vouch for the professional nature of management. I stupidly ordered by mistake from Thai Lotus believing they were a in fact Lotus Thai in Taupo. Upon contacting Thai Lotus the owner was extremely accommodating and we agreed to refund 50% of my mistake. They probably didn't have to do this, so very impressed they were so reasonable. Deserve more business for being good humans."

"First time visit to this restaurant. Upon entering we were greeted as if we were family, smiling and friendly staff who really seemed to want to be there. Once seated drinks were provided and our orders were taken. The food arrived promptly and looked amazing, it tasted even better, none of us could fault the quality of the food, it would be one of the tastiest meals I have had in recent times. Overall a great meal accompanied with great service. Well done to a great team."
